Preview: A lesson on the expectations of how man should praise the Lord.

Scripture Reading: Psalm 148:1-14.

Memory Verse: I Corinthians 10:31.

1. What did David exhort us to do in the congregation of saints? Psalm 149:1.
2. How should we come before the presence of the Lord? Psalm 98:4 & Psalm 100:1-2.
3. What should the saints do upon their beds? Psalm 149:5.
4. How can we praise the Lord other than singing? Psalm 98:5-6.
5. How did the people praise the Lord when the ark was moved back into the sanctuary? Psalm 68:25.
6. What musical instruments did the early saints use? Psalm 150:3-5.
7. What is another name for the instruments called the dance? Psalm 149:3 & Psalm 150:4. (See margin reading.)
Note: The word dance has two meanings: 1) A very common less valuable ancient instrument known as a pipe; 2) A regulated movement of the body and feet to a musical accompaniment. The word dance written in the Book of Psalms and many other places in the Scriptures makes reference to the pipe.
8. Is there a time to do all things? Discuss the meaning. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8.
9. Which people should praise God? Psalm 67:3-5.
10. What, other than man, should praise God? Psalm 150:6.
Note: Christians in heart, in spirit, in deed, and in truth are those who please the Almighty God.
